Marketing Tips for March

  • March is here! Get inspired and dress your window with coloured leaves and beautiful earthy tones. Brown glass, woods and ceramics add a lovely warm touch as the mornings get cooler and temperature starts to descend.
  • Continuing the Autumn/Winter visual merchandising trends for 2015/16 is all that is feathered with “Take Flight”. Look to the skies for inspiration for this trend as feathers of all kinds will be popping up in displays. Winged creatures are also key to this trend with butterfly wings and peacock prints lining the runways. This trend will be shown in dark hues with bright colourful accents to create opulent and eye-catching displays. (via VMplus.com.au)
  • Get in sync with what current events are going on in your city and if you can combine a floral promotional offer with hotels/theatres and restaurants in your area.
  • Colour is always a good idea to brighten up cloudier days. Our flower of the month ‘The Teddy Bear Sunflower’ is a welcome show of sunshine that adds a zesty yellow to mixed arrangements and wedding bouquets. Adding a touch of the country with wheat spears and mossy branches is a great way to incorporate this flower into arrangements. Read all about our Flower of the Month here.
  • Download the Flower of the Month Fact Sheet here, brand with your logo and print out to give to customers when they buy arrangements that include the Flower of the Month.
  • Keep your customers engaged and update your Instagram and facebook with all your latest arrangements so they can see your wonderful creations and share with their networks.
  • Make sure you advertise your social media tags so that you can pick up new customers on line! A small window decal, postcards on your counter and a sandwich board or prop outside your store with details is the best way to attract new customers into your store.
